Just watch . . .
If this isn't funny, I don't know what is. LOL. Cause we do agree that Beyonce is too extra for her own good, but she's an entertainer, and without her antics she'd be pretty boring.

All That Talk For Nothing
Yeah I'm still on it! I'm still reading crazy comments and these crazy comments are what scare me about overly religious people. The types that stand on the corner, holding signs saying that you're all gonna die. No ma'am. Keep me far away from that. Let me protect my sanity. I will not waste the rest of my life being paranoid about these things.
But anyways, my reading ass came across this article about the Rihanna situation. Just as I suspected. It's all for attention. You're drawing attention because of the shock value. And I know Rihanna's people don't give 3% of a whole f*ck about anybody thinking they worship devils and sh*t.
Via MTV
Rihanna may be playing a dangerous game on her first single, "Russian Roulette," but the man who produced the eerie ballad, Chuck Harmony, explains that when he and songwriter Ne-Yo sat down to conceptualize the feel of the track they wanted to take Rihanna's musical vibe to a new level. They didn't want to rehash what fans expect of the singer.
"We wanted to give her a movie. We didn't want to just give her a three-minute song," Harmony told MTV News. "I felt musically like everybody was gonna give like that 'Disturbia,' 'SOS,' kind of pop, uptempo stuff, and I really wanted the song that me and Ne-Yo did to stand out."
Ne-Yo co-wrote the track with Rihanna, but when he sat down with Harmony, the producer said the two guys knew that the song should be "something a little darker, something a little edgier, something a little more morbid. Just to try it out."
They recorded the track over the summer, and when it came down to picking a single for Rated R, out on November 23, it was an easy choice not only for the label but also for the singer.
"Rihanna phoned in to Ne-Yo to tell him that it was one of her favorites," Harmony explained. "I think overall she was comfortable with the vibe of the song and comfortable with the lyrical content of the song. She loves the song."
While he didn't go into details about what he thinks the song might be about, he did say that no matter what song Rihanna released as her comeback single people would immediately think it was about Chris Brown.
"Because that's the newest situation," Harmony explained. "Whatever she came with, if she came out with 'I still love you' that would have been about Chris Brown. If she came out with 'I hate your dog' that would have been about Chris Brown, too. It's just a natural reaction for people to associate 'cause she's been so tight-lipped."
Harmony is aware that the reaction has been mixed from fans who've heard the track. But he thinks singles should be about showing artistic growth, not feeding people the music that they expect.
"As a producer, I feel that's what's wrong with the music business, their first singles don't shock people," he said. "You're in a whole other space in life, so your first single should reflect that growth or that setback. I think with 'Russian Roulette' she's digging much deeper into her emotions. I knew she was going to another place an artist.
"If I had to speculate, I would speculate that [she released it] for shock value," he continued. " 'Russian Roulette' is the kind of song that when you hear it you're gonna talk about it — whether you like it, you talk about it. It's so unexpected, from the tempo to the title to the feel."

Interesting | Black Barbie . . .
This is brought to you by the folks over at YBF.com
Mattel® announced yesterday the launch of So In Style™, a new line of black dolls by Barbie® featuring more authentic-looking facial features such as fuller lips, a wider nose, more distinctive cheek bones and curlier hair. Many folks are up in arms calling it overly stereotypical and isn’t good for little black girls’ psyche. Here’s a snippet from the press release:
So In Style™ (S.I.S.™) was developed and inspired by Barbie® designer of 12 years, Stacey McBride-Irby, an African-American mother of two who wanted to create a line of dolls more reflective of her daughter and community.
The So In Style™ line features Grace™, Kara™ and Trichelle™ dolls, three best friends who are all about fashion, fun and friendship. Each of the dolls features its own unique personality and style and reflects one of three varying skin tones. The S.I.S.™ line also introduces a mentoring theme; each doll is accompanied by a smaller doll or “little sister” and has different interests – from music and math to science and drill team. The big and little sister dolls are meant to introduce and inspire girls with mentoring themes.
MY thoughts: I think these Barbie's are goregous. I wish I had Barbie dolls like these when I was growing up. They fit out characteristics more than anything. I don't see anything stereotypical about them. If anything the Bratz dolls were stereotypical. I think its just that you can't satisfy everyone. Someone is going to complain about something. And what makes it worse is that its our own race complaining about dolls made just for us. WHO SIDE ARE YOU ON? *side eye* I hope by the time

In Other News | Not That Yall Care . . .
When the hell did Chester, lead singer from Linkin Park, part ways from his group to create what you see below. RIDDLE ME THAT! -folds arms and taps foot- I am a huge, HUGE, fan of Linkin Park (never been to a concert but I'm still a fan.) So I need to figure this out.
Not a bad song. Actually I love this song, but I'm a bit confused. Thanks to MTV's website, I figured it all out. Take a look.
"We've got this song for 'Transformers,' and then sometime soon after this, Chester's going to be releasing a solo record called Dead by Sunrise, and that will be out towards the end of this year," Linkin Park MC Mike Shinoda said. "And then early next year there's going to be another Linkin Park record too. We've been writing a lot and all the stuff we've been experiencing and stuff we've seen — that stuff is all going into the songs. Over the next year or so, you're going to get a lot of different LP music, and I think you're going to get a lot of takes on everything that's been going on."
And that "different" music starts with Bennington's Sunrise, a long-in-the-works project that the singer says will finally see the light of day in September. And in keeping with what Shinoda was saying, Bennington is warning Linkin Park fans to prepare to be shocked by what they'll hear. Oh, and to fire up their black lights too.
"There's a stylistic thing that's different. With Linkin Park, we have a signature sound — you know it when you hear us. [Dead by Sunrise] does not have that feel. It has a completely different feel. Trying to describe that difference is like trying to describe the difference between Black Sabbath and Led Zeppelin, you know?" he said. "They're both rock, but they're different styles. I'm confident in saying this next record is going to be the most challenging ... and complex and intriguing music that has come out of the Linkin Park camp. It's really dark. It's like post-apocalyptic 'Blade Runner' meets LSD."
Hmm I'm interested. Like I said I already like this song, and I love me some Chester, so I already know that I'll support it. I was just wondering, why the sudden change? Yall know I like my memos to be aware of things, I just came across this song by accident. I don't like surprises, but I'll adjust. LOL.

Sooo where the f**k was C. Breezy?
I know a lot of us jumped for joy when we heard that Chris Brown was performing at the awards. Are you kidding me? I was excited. Someone who can actually do Michael some justice. Someone who can do all of his dance moves effortlessly. COME ON. Can you say #1 draft pick?
I guess BET didn't get that memo. I guess they heard how excited we were and decided to crush our dreams yall. Chris was scheduled to open the show with a performance of "Man In The Mirror." And I know that performance was going to be on point. If anyone could've saved the BET Tribute to MJ, it was going to be Chris Brown. But some haters at BET didn't allow that to happen.
They cut him before the show, leaving fans wondering "is he going to perform at the end?"
I am so over BET. They chose to see him as the criminal he became and not the talented young man he is. They not supporting their own. They'll throw him under the bus before they wipe him off clean and use him again for rating. SHAMELESS BASTARDS. They know how to kick a mofo when he's down. They denied him right to pay homage to his idol. WTF type of shit is that. I don't care what he did in his past. I'm ready to get back to music.
Or maybe I'm just the only one who feels that way.
BET is going to pay for this. Mark my words. I will never watch another show on that network again, unless its Trey affiliated. They will regret their decision. AND BEST BELIEVE. Other awards shows are watching. They gonna see these mistakes and BANK on them. Watch. And I hope they do.
Yall ready for some MTV (fucka MTV too), what about the AMA's and Grammy's. ITS ON! They gonna do it better and I hope they do and rub it in their faces. That's how disgusted I am. I lost my faith in BET. If nobody picks up CB for a tribute then I have no faith in music and I have no faith in people.
Look at what yall missing.
Yall tell me who can do it better. What dude has paid tribute to MJ more than CB? Who had a birthday themed after "Off The Wall." Who was MJ's biggest fan?
Riddle me that.

Is It Over??

Can I open my eyes now?? Is it safe to speak without ridicule?
HELL NO.
But are you as happy as I am that this trial is over. This domestic issue between Chris Brown and Rihanna has been pissing me off for the past few months. Chris Brown haters been pissing me off for the past few months. Repetitive articles about Rihanna and whatever the fuck she's doing at every minute of the day has been pissing me off for the past few months. Can we please just drop them both and get back to music? Are we that much damaged from this that we can't go back to what we were before? Just fans and not haters? Or just fans and not public defenders?
Yeesh
I guess time will heal all wounds. If that's possible.
Today, we finally got word on the verdict of the case and learned of Chris Brown's future. For one he's not going to jail despite what you might think.
He was sentenced to five years probation and 180 hours of community service, which he may be allowed to serve in his home state of Virginia. If he violates, then he's most definitely gonna serve four years. He also can't be within 50 yards of Rihanna unless they are at the same events. Then he cant come within 10 yards of her.
Good riddance. Thank god its over.

Drake, Could he be the best I eva had . . .in my iPod?

Ha! Not at all likely. Don't get me wrong I love Drake. I liked his music before everybody jumped on him. I can't go anywhere without hearing his music. And this mofo didn't put out an album yet.
Now I'm beginning to think all of this hype is turning people off of him. I've seen the comments. People are boarderline, others just straight up hate him. I am giving him a chance. Is he the savior of hip-hop? Who the hell knows. I don't think people should start pumping his head up like that. He'll turn out to be another Kanye.
THE WORLD DOESN'T NEED ANOTHER KANYE.
But anyway, Drake recorded the video "Best I Eva Had" with Kanye directing it. WHO KNEW (lol). And it's themed *rolls eyes* great. A lot of people are not sure about the video because of Ye being the director. I never had a problem with Ye's direction. I'm in full support of the different. People are so hard up when it comes to hip-hop. I like when a video or song is out of the ordinary, because it means that I'm the only one listening to it. I can keep it my own little secret.
I can't wait 'til the video is released. I know that Trey Songz is in it. Gotta check him out. All in all, I'm happy Drake is getting his shine despite what other people say. They are quick to criticize him. It ain't all about looks.
It's about music. It has always been about music. Where have you been at?
My Favorite song by Drake is Little Bit (remix). Check it out. I love how the person who created this organized it.
*Side Note* Have yall seen the video to "Spaceship" by Kanye? Talk about old. I don't know what he waited this long to release it. I love the concept of it. By the way, he directed it.
YouTube has the video underlock and key so its not working, but yall can follow this link.
