They are ... DOPE!!!!

What is you ask? The genius of Fanny Pak, you know the group that was on ABDC before it turned into complete and utter bullshit. The episodes that inspired me to dream of being a dancer even though i can't dance. So a li'l while ago, i was going on a search of choreography just because I felt like it. And I came across a few clips of my beloved Fanny Pak and spent hours on various youtube channels watching everything Fanny Pak.

So I'm just gonna post a few of the videos I favorited.

I loved the drop at 0:15 ... that is called dedication cause it looked like it hurt. Well it would certainly hurt me.

Fanny Pak isn't in this, but their choreographer, Matt Cady, put this piece together and OMG I AM IN LOVE. With the dance and the song.

Beau, right w/ red shorts, one of my favs.

Song Of The Day

I actually didn't know she made a video for this song. See I'm late on everything. Tsk Tsk. I love the whole concept of this. She's starting everyday the same way with slight differences. *sigh* It's just so great. And I love her hair. I can't wait 'til mines look like that.

Random | Consider This A FACT

I just randomly came across this dope description of my sign. It has to be THEE third best one I've found thus far. And it is pretty accurate.

I'm an Aries.

Aries live life head first; after all, those horns on your head are not just for fighting. Your headstrong nature can make you a “battering ram” and woe is the person who stands in your way.

Aries are noted for courage and leadership qualities, primarily because you are nearly always ready for action. The need for excitement pushes you into new territory — and as long as you are ahead of others while demonstrating confidence, chances are that they will follow you. As self-ordained leader of the pack, Aries fight for what you believe to be important. But it’s not that Aries are fearless. Your courage is more of a commitment to face your fears and overcome them.

Aries motto is “Ready, fire, aim!” It may be backwards for others, but you’d rather figure out what to do while you are doing it. Impulsive actions, however, can bring you your share of trouble. While others are gathering information to make informed decisions, you are already on your way. As such, you could suffer from false starts. In fact, you Aries are so good at starting things that you can be off onto your next project before completing the previous one. As you Aries mature, you learn to slow down your reaction time in order to think about the consequences of your actions.

Element: Fire

Fire signs are naturally warm. A fire gives light and heat, but it doesn’t get depleted as others feed on its warmth. One candle can bring light to a room and it won’t burn any faster if ten people read from its light than if there was only one. Fire doesn’t plan it next move; it isn’t logical. It simply is in the moment and will burn what fuel is available without judgment or forethought. For this reason fire signs can successfully rely on their intuition and survival instincts.
The fire of Aries is spontaneous and hot. It’s like a pile of dry kindling that burns fast but cannot sustain itself for the long haul.

First House: Self

The First House symbolizes our physical body and our personality — how we appear to the outer world. It’s not necessarily who we are; it’s what we bring to a situation and how others see us. It represents our childhood, the beginning of any activity or even the start of a new relationship. It’s not, however, about the other person; it’s about how others see us. No doubt, everything starts with the First House.

Key Planet: Mars

Mars is called the “Angry Red Planet.” In Greek mythology, Mars was the God of War. But Mars isn’t only about fighting; it’s about going somewhere, going anywhere. If someone is in our path, then, perhaps we must fight with them in order to keep going. Mars is like the gas pedal of our bodies. It’s represents how we move forward in life. In any chart, Mars offers clues as to how we express our basic energy. As the key planet of Aries, it reminds us to “just do it.”

Aries Greatest Strength:
Your courage to overcome fear

Aries Possible Weakness:
Not finishing things you start

I am ARIES, hear me roar .... RAWR! *displays claws* LOL

Song Of The Day

I was up watching Criminal Minds one night because its one of my favorite shows. I can't think of the episode, but it opened with a particular song that caught my attention. The instruments and the voice. And thanks to google, tvguide.com and heardontv.com I later found out the song was called:

Citizen Cope - Penitentiary

I couldn't find a download link so I had to purchase it on iTunes, but I say its a great buy.

ListenUP | The Script

So ... I am a Last.fm user. And I listen to my recommendations to discover music I haven't yet, and one day I came across this little gem here. The Script, a group from Dublin, Ireland. Yes I know, what the hell am I doing listening to them. I don't know. Like I said I listened to my recommended songs on Last.fm and based off of what I listened to. Because of that, I was introduced to The Script. And I ask ... WHERE HAVE THEY BEEN ALL OF MY LIFE?!

Listen to "Fall For Anything" (first absolute favorite song)

It took THAT one song to make me want to search them up on iTunes and purchase, purchase, PURCHASE. Their album is self-titled and it is AMAZING. I don't say that about too many albums. There was just this effortless blend of good music. I love the lead singer's voice. It's just so . . . authentic and unexpected. It's something about an unexpected voice that throws you off in a good way. It caught me hook line and sinker. It's the type of voice that makes you listen.

Then a few night following my introduction to them, I surfed through my channels and landed on MTV at 4 a.m. To my surprise, they played a video from The Script.

"Breakeven" (My second absolute favorite song)

I didn't know they were that popular. It's great to see a group deserving of such popularity on TV with videos. Then to find out that they had MORE videos just made my flipping day.

And all of this happened because I opened myself up to music I usually don't listen to. Give a song a chance, it could be the next great song on your list of favorites.

iTunes Playing . . .

This weeks new sounds . . . according to Sabrina's iPod.

I know, I know. I am late listening to certain artists or certain CDs. I like to approach music at my own pace, which is pretty rapid if you ask me. I cycle music daily and I'm constantly looking for new music. I have to. It is part of my process. Sue me. *kanye shrug*

So you ask, what do I have playing in my iTunes this month. Well allow me to share. I have these Current Obsession playlists set up by the month. There are a few additions to my iPod that I listen to repeatedly and I tend to group them in a playlist. It's pretty productive if you ask me. It's easier to give all new music you add in a certain month enough time to be played and enjoyed before you move on to the next hottest thing in music.

Works for me.

Captain's Log Stardate 01162010

To whom this may concern,

I'm aware that I no longer have the blog follow base that I use to have when I first started this blog. And as of late, I slacked off on my posts. But I did it for one simple reason, no one was LISTENING. Hence the title of my blog. Because no one else cared, I no longer cared.

It's sad actually, because you can't necessarily have a blog that no one is paying attention to. It's counterproductive. Now I realize that I shouldn't care about who's commenting or not. In this case, NOT. To say the least, I'm disappointed in A LOT of people.

But whatever. I won't complain. No more harassing mofos to read my blog. That is no longer me. It isn't important. Listen at your own free will, if you so choose to.
